Exhumation at mass grave in Visegrad
We earlier wrote about a new mass grave in Visegrad. The new mass grave was located in Straziste cemetery. The site was covered with garbage. Among the remains of Bosniak victims were roof tiles, rubbish and especially lime.Information about this mass grave was given by local Serbs: a dying Serb who was witness to the disposal of these bodies.

I hope that there were more than just a few members of the Serb community within Visegrad who were reluctant but impotent bystanders. The prospect of imminent death loosens the incapacitating force of intimidation. I hope there’s some means of encouraging witnesses scared of potential present consequences for their family nevertheless to record what they saw in a way that ensures their testimony will eventually become available, even if it’s from beyond the grave.
